Please join us for the sixth annual Synapse Life Science Competition Pitch Showcase.   Synapse is a competition designed to take ideas out of the lab, and into the market. Come meet our finalists, and hear the top 3 pitch their ideas on stage for the chance to win over $50,000 in cash and in-kind resources.  Learn about emerging life science companies, network with industry thought leaders, and support Hamilton's growing life sciences ecosystem. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available. Learn more about the competition and our finalists by visiting synapselifescience.com   FAQs What is the Synapse Life Science Competition? The Synapse Life Science Competition is designed to help move innovative Life Science products and services out of the lab and into the market, by pairing up Life Science Innovators with business and entrepreneurship students.  The competition is separated into four phases.

In January each year, the competition teams up life science innovators with business, science, and entrepreneurship students from university college. Together, each team produces business and commercialization plans, and a pitch for their ventures. Teams have the chance to win over $50,000 in cash and in-kind resources at the final showcase.   What are the parking options at the event?  The Synapse Life Science Competition takes place at McMaster Innovation Park. McMaster Innovation Park currently has capacity for a total of 500 vehicles on site.
