Climate change is our generation’s most significant challenge. Let’s come together and find ways to take action on climate change.  Change for Climate Talks will bring together 9 community leaders, all from different backgrounds, to share why they act on climate change and inspire others to take action now. Our speakers for the evening  include: Andrew Bell - Director, Electric Vehicle Association of Alberta Growing Electric Vehicle adoption in Edmonton Connie Stacey - President, Growing Greener Innovations Combating climate change through innovation and entrepreneurship Jocelyn Crocker - Urban Farmer & Chair, Physics Program, NAIT The revolution is local: Why you should grow food and not lawns Kenton Zerbin - Tiny House & Permaculture Teacher, Designer, Consultant Small living options to reduce your environmental impact  Mark Anielski - President & Chief Well-being Officer, Anielski Management Inc.

Rethinking consumption: Measuring success through well-being and happiness Michael James and Sarah Connor - Coaches, Rebel Life Project Mental health impacts of climate change and building personal resiliency  Shannon Leblanc - Founding Board Member, Edmonton Tool Library  The Sharing Economy: How we can make the best use of our resources Sean Holman - Associate Professor of Journalism, Mount Royal University A crisis in coverage: How the news media fails to report on the climate emergency and what you can do about it Doors open at 5:30 pm with light refreshments and a cash bar; presentations begin at 6:30 pm.
