Ottawa Branch of the National Association of Federal Retirees, in conjunction with Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada), invites you to a learning session on the Disability Tax Credit. This 90-minute learning session will be presented in English by a finance professional who is also a CPA volunteer and who will use material developed by CPA Canada.  The session is intended for:  individuals and caregivers of individuals that qualify for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) and those eligible to contribute to the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP). The content will be presented in English, however bilingual participation is encouraged.Outline: The learning objectives for participants are to: Determine the eligibility criteria and requirements Compare which deductions are of greater benefit to taxpayers Discuss the procedures to follow when changes in medical conditions occur Identify tax implications of making withdrawals and contributions to an RDSP  We hope to see you there.  Note: Seats are limited and you must register if you wish to attend. Please be sure to bring your ticket with you.
