FAQs Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Most people attending this course are adults although high school students are also welcome. What about transportation and parking? The location has ample parking. Some evening sessions will be in alternate locations. Car pools will be encouraged. What should I bring to each class? Please bring your camera, flash and tripod to every session, as well as your camera's owner manual. What if I need a flash for my camera? What should I buy? A flash unit must have the ability to rotate the head so it can be pointed 90º to the left and 90º to the right as well as behind you (180º). This is very important. Also, ensure your flash has TTL (Through the Lens) capability. This means that the flash automatically calculates the strength of the flash output for each situation. Camera manufacturers such as Canon and Nikon make excellent flash units. However, there are very effective and much less expensive options from other sources. Consider a Godox flash unit from Strobepro.com. This is a Calgary company that imports high quality equipment from China and stands behind their products. The friendly staff at Strobepro welcome your phone call to ensure you get the right one. https://strobepro.com/collections/speedlite-flash-1. How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Questions are welcome. Please email Dennis at [email protected] What's the refund policy? Full refunds are available up to March 1, 2020 (30 days prior to the beginning of the course). After that date, full refunds are available if your spot can be filled from the waitlist. If your spot cannot be filled, a 50% refund is available. There are no refunds once the course begins.
