8 WEEK COURSE:  1.5 hours EACH WEEK.   COST IS FOR CHILD + PARENT As modern life becomes more hectic, our children can sometimes become stressed out by the pace of things. Add in school, friends and technology, and sometimes that pressure is just too much to handle.  During the Breathe EASY course, children will learn mindfulness, a technique that science has proven to reduce stress, improve focus and attention and increase general happiness. Parents are encouraged to attend with their child. Participants will learn how to: Recognize the signals that they are becoming stressed out Understand what then happens in their brains and body Use a variety of techniques to calm their body and mind Be more forgiving of and caring towards themselves Feel emotionally stronger and more confident Incorporate these tools as part of their daily life
