All Sport One City  is a week-long event offering FREE, no-pressure discovery sport and fitness classes for ADULTS SAVE THE DATE: January 21 - 26, 2019REGISTRATIONS OPEN ON JANUARY 1, 2019 Search All Sport One City to find all the sessions available Looking for a great workout? Give roller skating a try. Roller skating is the traveling on surfaces using Quad roller skates . It is a form of recreational activity as well as a sport, and can also be a form of transportation. Roller skating is equivalent to jogging in terms of health benefits and caloric consumption, reduction of body fat, and leg strength development. Whether a first time skater or wanting to brush up on your skills, this class will provide an introducation to roller skating, how to wear and use all gear, and skating basics including forward movement, stopping and turning.


Roller (quad) skating has that classic, carefree vibe that makes skating so much fun. Give it a try. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: None, really.  Just try it out and have fun. ADAPTABILITY: We are able to accommodate students with special needs students, however please contact us to discuss special requirements in advance. EQUIPMENT / ATTIRE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE: Comfortable clothing. You can bring your in-line skates, safety gear and certified helmet if owned. In Line skates should have a working brake.  Skates, safety gear and helmets will be provided if needed. Registrations will close one day prior to the event start. Drop-in is possible, although space cannot be guaranteed for drop in. (Best to contact the session provider before the session start) MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS? Adult, over 18 years of age TRANSPORTATION / PARKING OPTIONS?Parking available. There are a few bus options. Check CalgaryTransit.com for details. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?At least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. FOOD & BEVERAGE AVAILABLE?No, but pubs and restaurants nearby
