Stephen Slack will present "Creative I, the way I see it".  An evening of exploring photography and creativity mixed together in a fun but informative way.  https://artinmotion.myportfolio.com/ https://www.facebook.com/stephen.slack.750 Stephen‘s Biography My love of art and photography has been a life long passion. I picked up my first camera at the age of 9 or 10. I also spent many hours honing my skills as a freehand Illustrator, a skill that really started to take shape in my high school years. I always wanted to be an artist, and did pursue the idea of attending art college. Needless to say, back then it seemed that I had to choose between doing art for pleasure and doing it to make money. I was at a crossroad and eventually decided on a career as a Dental Technologist.

I utilized my creative skills in the dental industry, until I retired in 2011. It was then, with the freedom to pursue my passion, I started a small creative design studio working on creative for web and print. These days however, I am more invested in producing digital art for myself and a select group of clients who purchase my vintage automotive and rock and roll art, as well as completing commissioned art pieces for wall art. I show my work at select events that cater to vintage automotive enthusiasts and nostalgia drag racing. I have used Photoshop since 1996, and over that 23 year period I have been able to combine my love of photography with that of free hand illustration to create a unique blend of both in the final artwork.  I have presented on creativity and the creative process at many Camera Clubs from Newmarket to Windsor.
I was privileged to be a guest lecturer and presenter at the Bayfield Fall Fotofest in 2018. Today I teach individuals or small to large groups, ranging from beginner to advanced users of Photoshop, both on location and in my home. This event is sponsored by Trillium Photographic Club and it's free to Members. Non-members please pay $10 cash at the door.
