YMCA Youth BEAT Fraser Valley employment program is starting in Chilliwack this November. YMCA Youth BEAT Fraser Valley is a FREE employment program that supports youth with mental health barriers to Breakthrough to Employment And Training. The program also helps youth gain confidence in kick-starting their careers. Sign up for one of our upcoming information and registration sessions on Eventbrite to learn more. Participants benefit from:  5 weeks of workshops based around employability, wellness and life skills 12-week support phase during work placements Additional program benefits include training and grocery allowances, a six-month YMCA Fitness Membership, daily breakfasts, transit support and more. Eligibility Criteria: aged 18-24 experiencing mental health challenges unemployed or under employed not attending full-time school Our fall intake will start early November.

No. If you need to reschedule please contact us. Registration is limited to first-come first serve basis and all applicants will be interviewed to determine suitability. Don't worry - it's not a formal interview - the program workshops will help train you for real work interviews ;)     FAQs   What can I bring into the event? You should bring photo ID if you have.
We will provide pen and paper should you wish to take notes.     FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? You must meet the age criteria of between 18-24 years to be eligible for this program.
